Application

Bonding instructions for applying Invisible Lace Wigs to your skin. We want to let you know that adhering your wig is a simple process that you just have to become comfortable with. The more you adhere your unit yourself the more familiar with it you will become with the process. It gets easier each time!

Things you will need:

Scalp protector, liquid adhesive, and small natural bristol art's/craft's brush.

Instructions:

  1. Position unit on head folding edges up.
  2. Clean and dry scalp.
  3. Apply scalp protector. Let dry.
  4. Use brush to apply an EVEN coat, preferably thin coat. Let dry. Note: It is extremely important that you allow the adhesive to dry fully in order to maximize your unit's hold. You can use a portable mini fan to help dry adhesive. Do not use heat. Adhesive will become tacky when dry.
  5. Optional: Repeat Step 3
  6. Firmly press for a minute on dry adhesive.

Application tips:

  • Secure the front before adhering the back (if applicable).
  • Secure unit from one side to the next. For example: Adhere the middle then adhere the right side then adhere the left side.
  • If you are using tape just replace the liquid adhesive in the instructions with tape. Tape is already dry so should be faster.
  • Remember a clean wig sticks the best!

Removal and Cleaning

Things you will need:

Adhesive remover (spray bottle recommended), cotton balls, paper towel, and an old toothbrush.

Instructions:

  1. Generously moisten cotton ball with adhesive remover.
  2. Gently rub wet cotton ball in a circular motion lace and adhesive while carefully lifting the lace.
  3. Once entire wig is removed from scalp clean adhesive from scalp thoroughly with cotton ball.
  4. To clean the unit's lace, spray the adhesive on the lace with adhesive remover.
  5. Firmly press paper towel on adhesive spots on the lace and hold for a minute.
  6. Adhesive should wipe off with paper towel.
  7. Use toothbrush for tougher areas.

Wash your wig

Simply wash your wig just as you would your own hair but make sure you wash it from top to bottom motion trying not to tangle the hair as much. Use good shampoo such as Biolage Matrix shampoo and conditioner. Always condition and let wig stand for about 5 minutes before last rinse. Then just simply let wig dry overnight. Your wig will be perfect and ready to attach in the morning. Note: Although not recommended, you can dry your wig with a hair dryer. Just try to limit the amount of heat you put to your wig because it tends to dry the hair out.
